February 11, 2007: Rwanda Ministry of Health led by the Minister of State for HIV/AIDS, Dr. Innocent Nyaruhirira hosted Friends Africa Board Members, The Chair and Deputy Executive Director of the Global Fund, other Global Fund Staff and participants to a cocktail reception at the Kigali Serena Hotel, Rwanda.

February 12, 2007: Day 1 of Friends Africa Board Inauguration in Kigali, Rwanda. The President of the Republic of Rwanda and his wife Madame Jeanette Kagame arrived at the venue and his arrival kick started events of the day. The morning session included messages from President Kagame and other Key Speakers such as the Chair of the Board, Mr. Aig Imoukhuede and CEO for Friends Africa, Dr. Akudo Anyanwu Ikemba, the Chair and Deputy Executive Director of the Global Fund among others.

February 12, 2007: Friends Africa Board Member/Advisory Board and Global Fund Staff Site Visit to a Global Fund Funded Project located at CHK Hospital and the Genocide Memorial Complex in Kigali, Rwanda.
