Friends Africa has a 2 year Action Plan comprised of activities
centered around the following.
1. Advocacy and Fundraising
- Resource mobilization through
new, innovative financing mechanisms
- Effective advocacy for AIDS,
TB and Malaria to increase awareness and funding for the
three pandemics
- Effective advocacy to enhance
policy around AIDS, TB and Malaria at the Country level
- Community level resource
mobilization for AIDS, TB and Malaria
2. Documentation
- Evaluating Best Practices in
the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria
- Assessing and documenting the
challenges, successes, lessons learned in implementation of
Global Fund grants
3. Communication/Education
- Sharing and disseminating
research and documentation projects to extensive networks
- Improving workplace policies
for AIDS, TB and Malaria
4. Self-Monitoring and
Evaluation
- Enhancing the value and
capacity of Friends Africa initiatives through consistent and
continual learning.
